About Our Program

Our phlebotomy program provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to safely and effectively collect blood specimens from patients. The program is designed to equip students with an understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system, blood collection techniques, and infection control. Students will also learn to identify and address patient concerns during the blood collection process, as well as how to handle and transport blood specimens. The program includes a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training in a clinical setting to provide students with practical experience. The phlebotomy program provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in healthcare.

Upon successful completion of our program, students will receive a certificate and be eligible to take National Healthcare Association (NHA) certification exam. After successful completion of evaluation, will be certified and registered as a Phlebotomist in the state of Louisiana.
